ABOUT ABOUT

In 1959, film director Roger Corman began a series of eight adaptations of the works of Edgar Allan Poe, known as “The Poe Cycle.”  The initial idea was never to make eight films; Corman simply wanted to adapt Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher”.  The success of each film led to another and another.

The Paxton Theatre will be showing these three films on Halloween night as part of our Nightfall Film Festival.
